biography
Larry Guthrie was born near the conclusion of World War II. Anxious for America’s conflict to end in victory, Larry’s parents gave him a name that embodied the idea of triumph. The concept of being triumphant seemed to characterize Larry’s life as he grew older, resulting in the attainment of great success for himself. However, God’s plans for Larry’s life were far greater than the attainment of personal ambitions. In order to find God’s best, though, Larry had to have his personal “triumph” trophies stripped away. But as he surrendered his life and his future into the hands of God, Larry began to witness doors opening before him, opportunities – through God’s grace – to impact individuals around the world. In this Legacy of Faith presentation, you will be challenged to evaluate the source of your actions, and encouraged to experience the triumph of God in your life.
