Otto Koning was born in the Netherlands just a few years before the outbreak of World War II. After enduring the hardships of the war, he moved with his parents as immigrants to Canada. It was there that Otto received Christ as his savior, and began his preparation to become a missionary. When he finally reached the mission field, Otto encountered multiple unanticipated challenges. Among these challenges were theft, kidnapping, death threats, and constant spiritual attack. But in each situation, God revealed a vital lesson and powerful solution to Otto. In the Legacy of Faith presentation, Otto shares many of these lessons. Larry Guthrie

Born near the conclusion of World War II, Larry was given a name that embodied the idea of triumph and victory. As he grew up, Larry’s life was characterized by the pursuit of triumph, driving him to achieve personal greatness. However, when an unexpected event altered Larry’s hard-won attainments, it sent him down a path of discovering God’s greater plans for his life. Eventually Larry found himself being offered jobs and entrusted with responsibilities that he never anticipated having – activities that were beyond his sphere of expertise and comfort. But as he stepped through the doors God opened before him, Larry came to realize that life’s purpose is not about gaining personal triumph, but about God’s overcoming power in and through our lives. Larry was “unexpectedly” given the opportunity to impact lives all around the world.

Keith Daniel

Born and raised in South Africa, Keith’s early years were marked by hardship. When his father succumbed to alcoholism and changed his behavior as a result, Keith’s mother filed for divorce. The broken state of Keith’s family caused him to turn to the world for fulfillment. But fulfillment was never found… until Jesus Christ revealed himself to the Daniel family. When Keith, along with his family, were marvelously saved, there was a radical shift in Keith’s life. Almost immediately he began to have a hunger and thirst for the Word of God, and as a result God was able to form a humble servant through which His Word was able to be declared with sincerity and power. Ever since that time Keith has traveled as an evangelist, exhorting individuals to turn from their own ways and to experience a dynamic intimacy with God by “soaking themselves in the Word.”
